Chinese passport & visa photos in Tucson, AZ

Chinese visa photos are 48mm high by 33mm wide with the head measuring 28 to 33 millimetres — proportionally much larger in the frame than a US passport photo. Rescaling a 2×2 inch US photo to fit will not produce a compliant image, and it is the most common way these get rejected.
Two rules catch people repeatedly. Your ears must be visible, which longer hair often hides. And you cannot wear white — the top must be colored or dark so you separate from the required white background. Prints must be on glossy paper; matte is an explicit rejection.

What gets these photos rejected
- Ears must be visible. Longer hair tucked forward is a routine rejection.
- Do not wear white. The background is white, so a white top leaves no separation.
- Glossy paper only. Matte finish is specifically called out as unacceptable.
- The online application checks your photo automatically. After three failed uploads the system requires you to bring a physical print — a good reason to get it right the first time.
- Photos must be unstapled, uncreased, and undamaged; stapled or clipped photos are refused.
