Effective August 14, 2026. This page explains what Tucson Passport Photos collects through this website, why, and what happens to it.
Who we are
Tucson Passport Photos is operated by Design Photography, a photography business in Tucson, Arizona owned by Bob Hitchcock. Reach us at (520) 298-7007 or through our contact page. Portrait and commercial photography is offered under the same ownership at a separate website.
What we collect
Information you give us. Our enquiry forms ask for your name, phone number, email address, the country and document type you need a photo for, and your preferred timeline. We use this to answer your enquiry and schedule your appointment.
A note on the country field. Telling us you need photos for a Canadian citizenship application, or a visa to a particular country, says something about your circumstances. We treat that the same as everything else here: we use it to get your photo specification right, and we do not share it with anyone outside the services listed below.
Information collected automatically. Our website records basic technical information — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the referring site. We use this to understand which pages help people and which do not.
Your photograph
The photograph we take is made for your application and provided to you. We do not publish passport or visa photographs, use them in advertising, or share them with anyone other than you. Where an application requires a photo to be submitted digitally, we provide the file to you and you submit it.
How long we keep your photo. Most passport and visa photos are only accepted if they were taken within the last six months, so a file older than that is of no further use to you. We generally keep your photo for around that period in case you need a reprint or a retake under our guarantee, and after that we may delete it at our discretion. If you would like your files removed sooner, ask us and we will take care of it.

We advertise through Google and Meta. Those platforms may set cookies to measure whether an advertisement led to an enquiry.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers above, and only so they can perform the function described. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep things
Enquiries are kept as long as we reasonably need them for follow-up and our business records. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (520) 298-7007 or use the contact form. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. Appointments for minors are arranged by a parent or guardian.

We link to official government pages about photo requirements. Once you leave our site, this policy no longer applies.
